The company's new R8 products include K-Flex LS™, Insul-Sheet®, and FlexTherm® thermal insulation. These three types of insulation are available in sheets or rolls and offer an optional UV-resistant aluminum facing. The products do not absorb water, which makes them ideal for outdoor ductwork applications, says the company. The manufacturer says it is the first elastomeric manufacturer in the insulation industry to meet mechanical and building code requirements for R8 thermal resistance for outdoor ductwork with all nominal 2-inch sheet products.
