The Smoke Pen emits test smoke when and where it is needed, says the company. To use, insert a patented smoke-emitting wick into the pen and adjust the wick to provide 3/8 inch of exposed wick. Next, light the wick with a match or lighter. The smoke pen is designed to provide a continuous trail of smoke. The pen can be extinguished by placing the cover back on it. This nontoxic, cool-burning emitter is ideal for air balancing, verifying ventilation, testing smoke alarms, and testing for negative or positive pressure, the company states. The package contains a Smoke Pen and six replacement wicks.
