WALL, N.J. - New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources (NJR), announced that it will work to help the state with its energy initiatives. Not long ago, the state established a goal to have 20 percent of New Jersey's energy come from renewable energy sources by 2020. NJNG has installed a PV system at its William L. Maude Service Center in Wall Township, N.J. The rooftop panels convert renewable solar energy into electricity. It will generate approximately 25,800 kWh each year for the facility. NJNG also introduced an initiative to offer customers the option to contribute to the New Jersey Clean Energy Program through their natural gas bill.
