The GermBlaster™ UVC air purification system kills airborne microorganisms to improve the quality of recirculated indoor air, the company says. For installation in duct systems, the GermBlaster prevents excessive growth of mold and bacteria on heating-cooling coils and the odors that accompany such growth, states the manufacturer. The UVC lamp snaps into the lamp holder(s). An observation port installs in the duct wall for visual indication of lamp operation. This system is available in single-lamp and double-lamp configurations.
