The DirectSense IAQ PPC is a pocket PC-based system that measures IAQ parameters and stores information from remote locations. Levels of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and other toxic gases can be displayed and data logged, as well as relative humidity, temperature, air speed, particulates (count or concentration), and other matter. Each separate data file can contain text notes, audio notes, Word/Excel templates, graphic notes, and calibration information. The operator manual is loaded on the Pocket PC as a .PDF file; other documents, whether government, industry, or in-house items, can also be loaded on the PC. Desktop PC software is furnished for analysis and reporting of data collected in the field with this system. An optional hard shell security case is available.
