The EAML3625 louver incorporates an air measuring station. The combination louver and air measuring station requires only a few inches of installation depth and performs the same function as separate louvers and air monitors that require several feet of installation depth, says the manufacturer. The EAML design uses a unique airfoil shaped extrusion to measure airflow, the company states. Then the airflow information is provided to the fresh-air intake damper actuator controllers, which increase or decrease the amount of fresh air intake through the louver.
