Several upgrades have been made to the TFE line of commercial-grade thermal expansion valves. The company says the valves can be used for a wide range of applications and with higher-pressure refrigerants such as R-410A. Enhancements to the TFE include improved life-cycle performance and an expansion of capacity range, from 8 to 40 tons. The valves have a 680-psig maximum working pressure, balanced port design, and removable power element.
