GAITHERSBURG, Md. - The National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) has scheduled its Retro-Commissioning Seminar for Feb. 10-12, 2005, in Orlando, Fla. This seminar is open to all individuals who are interested in learning the process for identifying, correcting, and commissioning existing building systems.

According to NEBB, retro-commissioning is the process of discovering and correcting problems in existing, underperforming building systems. This extensive inspection may eliminate the need for expensive improvements. Retro-commissioning also is a fast-growing global market for quality design-build firms that possess the technical skills in system testing and troubleshooting.

This seminar is designed to provide attendees with the basic tools to market and sell retro-commissioning. According to the bureau, attendees will also learn how to perform problem discovery and evaluate various methods to perform corrective solutions.
