DUBLIN, Ga. - Heart of Georgia Technical College (HGTC) is paying kudos to student Michael Albanese for taking the HVACR silver medal in the SkillsUSA-VICA national competition held earlier this year.

More than 50 people took part in the HVACR event. "We are very proud of Michael for his second place win on the national level," said HGTC President Randall Peters. "This shows the level of students Heart of Georgia Tech is producing and the level of expertise of our instructors."

Kevin Livingston, technical and industrial programs department chair and air conditioning instructor at the school, said, "Michael is a dedicated student who takes pride in his work."
