The AAF®-HermanNelson® Model AV unit ventilator is modular in design, which allows for easy access for cleaning and servicing. The company says the higher-capacity cooling coils help reduce energy costs, improve comfort, and can provide quieter operation. The drain pan slopes left or right, for installation flexibility. A secondary drain connection is standard. The unit ventilators use GentleFlo™ air moving technology and face-and-bypass damper air control. It has a draw-through design. The unit has an extra-sturdy chassis and scuff-resistant finish. MicroTech II™ unit controllers with the Protocol Selectability™ feature enables the multiple ventilators to be integrated into a school's building automation system of choice using BACnet® or LonTalk® protocol.
