The company's chillers now have a specialized digital control. This control has field-adjustable settings and an EE-prom memory. It is designed to monitor temperature, compressor run hours, and high and low pressure, with an adjustable setting alarm. It controls up to two independent refrigeration systems with auto lead-lag. According to the company, the control features a 30-second compressor time delay designed to prevent short cycling and nuisance faults, as well as a 60-second hot gas solenoid delay designed to prevent false gas feeding during compressor startup. It operates to a ±1 degree F accuracy, operates and displays in Fahrenheit or Celsius, and is powered from the chiller 24-V control circuit, says the manufacturer. The company offers packaged air-cooled, split system air-cooled, and packaged water-cooled scroll chillers, as well as semi-hermetic chillers, in sizes of 1 to 60 hp (scroll) and 1 to 120 hp (semi-hermetic).
