The duct wrap insulation helps control heat loss and condensation during HVAC system operation. Ductwork enclosed in the duct wrap can handle conditioned air at temperatures from 35 degrees to 250 degrees F for faced duct wrap and 35 degrees to 350 degrees for unfaced wrap, states the manufacturer.
