These refrigerant monitors use only photoacoustic infrared sensing technology, which eliminates the need for auto-zero calibration, says the company. They are refrigerant specific. The RMWE monitor is designed to meet the sensitivity requirements of 1 ppm. The RMWG monitor can be configured as a self-contained unit or a split system that includes a control module and a remote-mounted sensor. The remote-mounted sensors can be used as stand-alone units with any building automation system. These sensors are available in single-point diffusion or four-point pumped models. A variety of alarm options are available with the monitors.
