FARMINGTON, Conn. - Carrier Corp. has reached an agreement to acquire Automated Logic Corp. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Automated Logic and its subsidiaries will keep operating under their current names and its headquarters will stay in Kennesaw, Ga.

Automated Logic was founded in 1977. The company designs and manufactures building automation and control systems, mainly for HVAC and energy management.

"Automated Logic's leading controls technology enhances Carrier's current electronics controls business," said Ken Fox, vice president and general manager of Carrier Electronics.
