CESVA’s SC-160 Real Time Analyzer measures HVAC acoustics and building noise. It is an ANSI Type 2 sound level meter and real-time octave band spectrum analyzer with a frequency range from 31.5 to 16 Hz. Users can assess noise in real-time using the NC curves criterion. The analyzer has a memory, which stores almost 90 hours of one-second measurements. According to the company, it has a single 100 dB dynamic range, so there’s no need for range switching. The screen shows the measurements in graphical and numerical forms. The detachable microphone can be moved away from the meter by means of an extension cable. The gathered data can be transferred to a PC.
