The SC-30 is a Type 1 real-time octave band analyzer with a frequency range from 31.5 Hz to 16 kHz. With a single 23 to 140 dB dynamic range and a memory of 984 hours of 1-second measurements, it allows a complete check of all HVAC equipment without the need for range switching, the company states. It can be used for NC, RC, RC mark II, NCB, and all descriptors used in HVAC product noise and community noise analysis, the manufacturer says. The unit includes the software for real-time retrieval of all measured and recorded data and their transmission to a PC.
