The company’s new plate heat exchangers use up to 80% less floor space than shell-and-tube exchangers and are made with stainless steel plates with densely packed surface areas to provide superior thermal efficiency, the company says. A wide variety of plate sizes are available, and plates are pressed in the patterns that best suit the performance of the individual system, the company says. The interlocking plate design, unique to the company’s heat exchangers, has a locking lip that secures the connection between plates to keep them precisely aligned and tightly sealed. These heat exchangers are designed to provide close temperature capabilities, prevent cross-contamination, and ensure minimum fouling, the company says.
