The Premier® ES heat pump, also known as the Rock, is housed in a decorative rock structure, which is available in five colors. The unit can be completely concealed in the rock because it has no outdoor fan or plate fin coils like ordinary air conditioners, states the manufacturer. The unit thus does not make any of the irritating noises associated with older-style units, the company claims. According to the manufacturer, the unit has an operating efficiency up to 23.7 EER and heating efficiencies of up to 4.5 COP.
