The DuctMasterâ„¢ Support Strap is a polypropylene mono-filament duct hanger for hanging HVAC duct and flexible dust collection hose. It now is available in 1-3/4- and 3-inch widths. The former size has 450 pounds of tensile strength and the latter size features 640 pounds of tensile strength. Designed to withstand movement caused by positive air pressure, the support strap conforms to the shape of the hose and duct, the company states. Available in black as well as silver, the DuctMaster can be easily installed by nailing it into wood support members or by riveting or stapling it around a steel rod, the manufacturer says.
