The SounPak® straight and elbow duct silencer line has expanded. According to the manufacturer, the two new rectangular silencers have an FDA-approved vapor barrier, and both are fully tested in accordance with ASTM E 477. Rectangular models are available for velocities from 0 to 2,500 fpm. All rectangular silencers in the line have a galvanized outer casing with a minimum thickness of 22 gauge. Special metals, heavy-duty shell and components, matching connections, special sizes and barrier materials, and special features for contaminated flows are also available. Round models are available for velocities from 0 to 10,000 fpm.
