The company’s UV disinfection systems can be used in office buildings, hospitals, laboratories, and food processing facilities as an effective way of controlling airborne microbial contaminants that can cause infection or spoilage, states the company. According to the manufacturer, they are compact, easy to install inside of existing ductwork, and operate silently. A single high-powered lamp can disinfect up to 5,000 cfm of air and are virtually maintenance-free with the only routine service being the replacement of the UV lamps twice per year, the manufacturer says.
