Automatic Room Temperature Control Valves balance low-pressure steam or hot water systems and control the room temperature within ±1 degree F, states the manufacturer. They have a “memory disc,” which, according to the manufacturer, makes it very easy to reset a temperature position. The valve’s patented “Easy-Demo” tool permits exchanging valve inserts without having to stop or drain the heating system, the company says. Valve patterns are straight, angle, or horizontal angle to match the heating system design, and come in 1/2-, 3/4-, 1-, or 1-1/4-in. sizes. The valves are made of solid die-cast brass with stainless steel valve stems.
