The Condalert™ is designed to provide equipment shutdown when water leaks or a drain overflow is detected. When an overflow occurs, the unit will activate its red LED alarm and loud buzzer. An internal mechanical relay stops the system to prevent flooding and can be reset by wiping off the stainless steel probes. Operating on 24 VAC from the air conditioner system, this unit is encapsulated in epoxy. It can be installed in drain pans and under or next to air handlers. According to the company, more than one unit can be installed on a troublesome air conditioner to give an area complete flood protection. An optional unit is available without the buzzer.
