MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) recently signed an agreement with the Heating Airconditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) to bring the HARDITek initiative to HRAI members.

HARDITek is designed to help wholesalers and manufacturers take advantage of technology platforms that help reduce costs, enhance productivity, and deliver higher levels of customer service. It is exclusively targeted to the HVACR industry and it focuses on maximizing profitability and efficiency for HRAI's wholesaler members, while making it as easy as possible for manufacturers to do business with them.

HARDITek is comprised of three exclusively endorsed HARDITek Partners who provide partnered or standalone services that can be applied to solve the most basic profit-eroding challenges. These partners - Trade Service Corp., Catalog Builder, and TranksLink EDI Solutions - are committed to streamlining the processes of wholesalers and manufacturers specifically in the HVACR industry. Finding, quoting, ordering, invoicing, paying for, and marketing products are usually the largest expenses between channel partners aside from inventory. These processes are rife with manual keying, errors and corrections, and customization for special orders. HARDITek targets those processes and provides flexible automated solutions to those problems. HRAI is finalizing a communication campaign and additional information about the HARDITek initiative.
