The Ruskin Company (Kansas City, MO), part of the air systems components group of Tomkins plc, has acquired certain assets of the vent and control damper and the economizer business of Johnson Controls Inc. (Milwaukee, WI). Ruskin will manufacture the vent and control dampers, but they will continue to be marketed, sold, and distributed by Johnson Controls. Ruskin also will take over the manufacturing and marketing of the economizer dampers, which now will be sold under the Ruskin brand name.
Selkirk LLC (Dallas, TX) has promoted Ken Geary, current director of customer service, to vice president – Logistics. Geary will continue to be responsible for the customer service function for all of Selkirk.
