Linacoustic® RC, a flexible duct liner, has a Permacote® acrylic polymer coating, which connects the insulation core and the mat/coating composite. An EPA-registered protective agent shields against the possible bacteria and fungus growth, says the manufacturer. Flame-attenuated glass fibers give this duct liner core notably better acoustical and thermal properties than other leading liners, claims the company. The product meets or exceeds all requirements of ASTM 1071 for fibrous duct liner performance.
