LONG ISLAND CITY, NY — Wholesaler ABCO Refrigeration will be holding its first Customer Appreciation Day of the 2002 season on Wednesday, May 15, at all 16 branches from Boston, MA to Wilmington, DE.

Long Island City will be hosting a breakfast between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.; all other branches will be hosting a two hour lunch between noon and 2:00 p.m. Representatives of a number of key vendors will be on hand to provide support with their product and application knowledge. In addition to food, there will be giveaways, including the 2002 ABCO baseball hat, and drawings for prizes.

ABCO has traditionally hosted a Customer Appreciation Day in June, but this year the company decided to move it up to May. Paul Rebelo, senior vice president of sales and engineering, said, “This has been a tough year for many of our customers in the Northeast. It’s time to come together in a show of unity and strength, and celebrate not only our success in working through these challenges together, but also the resiliency of the professional hvacr contractor community.”

Walt Patton, vice president of operations, added: “The busy summer season is finally here and we want to thank our customers for their business and friendship during a challenging year. So before we get too far into the season, we want them to join us for a few hours on May 15 to let them know how very important they are to all of us at ABCO Refrigeration.”
