The TLP line of infrared tube heaters’ radiant heat transfer is enhanced by the use of heat-treated aluminized steel tubes, the manufacturer says. They are CSA-certified for both indoor and outdoor installations. According to the company, the heaters can also be used in vented as well as unvented applications. Burner inputs are 50,000 through 200,000 Btu for both natural gas and for propane gas models. Stocking kits are available for converting burner inputs to any other burner size, as well as for propane field conversions. Features include sliding side panels that can be removed completely for access to the controls from either side of the unit; a gas valve that can be rotated 180 degrees; and a sealed burner enclosure. The igniter and flame sensor are easily accessed by removing a single housing, the company states.
