The UPC-67 slotted outlet can be mounted in floors and ceilings like traditional outlets, as well as in sidewalls and in tiny cavities, such as dropped ceilings, roofs, and near the perimeter of low-pitched roofs. The UPC-67 is the plastic version of the UPC-66 cast aluminum slotted outlet; the former does not require the mounting brackets and rails that the latter must have in order to be mounted. The new outlet is 1-3/4 by 10-1/5 inches, with a paintable plastic trim plate. It is recommended for residential installation.
