The UPC-67 slotted outlet can be mounted in floors and ceilings like traditional outlets for the company’s mini-duct systems. It can be placed in sidewalls and in tiny cavities, such as dropped ceilings, roofs, and near the perimeter of low-pitched roofs, the manufacturer states. The company recommends it for residential installations. The UPC-67 is the plastic version of the UPC-66 slotted outlet, but it doesn’t require the mounting brackets and rails that the cast aluminum UPC-66 requires in order to be mounted. It is 1-3/4 inches by 10-1/5 inches with a paintable plastic trim plate.
