The E-Finiti™ mid-efficiency water heater and boiler, available in 750 and 1,000 MBH sizes, is designed for such applications as hotels, restaurants, schools, prisons, and office facilities. The 85% efficiency rating is the highest allowable for non-condensing appliances, minimizing operating costs while avoiding the higher installation cost of condensing appliances, the company says. The heat exchanger is said to be impervious to thermal shock, highly resistant to scaling, and has no gaskets to prevent leaking. The unit has a small footprint — 6.7 sq ft.
