The company has introduced a new general-purpose ac drive, the GPIO. Dual-rated for variable torque and constant torque loads, this open-loop vector drive offers precise speed regulation for hvacr and a range of industrial applications, says the company. The drive is suited for use with fans and pumps; it offers variable torque rating and other features to enhance system operation, the company says. Features include smart speed search, for accurate capturing of load speed after inadvertent shutdown; disable reverse operation; and automatic restart, says the manufacturer.
