International Comfort Products: split-system a/c
The new Tempstar SmartComfort 2200 Series split-system air conditioners feature the Durawhisper™ top, made of a non-corrosive composite in a design that directs discharge air and sound up and away from house and shrubbery, says the company. The aerodynamic discharge system swirls air quietly through a circular fan orifice and pushes it gently up through the unit’s slanted top, the manufacturer says. Available in capacities from 1.5 to 5 tons, the units provide 12-SEER performance. All models come standard with two-speed fan motors.
