KANSAS CITY, MO — The Sheet Metal and Air-Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) and its members have been notified by Ruskin Co., based here, regarding a program to replace certain Ruskin fire and smoke damper models which contain MA 200 Series Actuators.
The concern is that the dampers may not be able to perform their required functions.
SMACNA says it is presently working with the manufacturer on procedures that would simplify members’ administrative burdens in identifying customers involved in this recall.
