FirstEnergy Services Corp., a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. (Akron, OH), has signed a master energy services agreement with Albrecht Inc., a real estate and development firm in Akron. Under a three-year agreement, FirstEnergy will provide electricity, natural gas, and facility services management, including hvac, energy conservation, and roofing maintenance to all Albrecht facilities.
Delaware Valley College of Doylestown, PA has signed an energy-services agreement with PPL EnergyPlus (Allentown, PA) that is expected to save the school nearly $2 million over the next 10 years. The agreement will help the college reduce energy use and maintain mechanical systems, including heating and air conditioning, in campus buildings.
