The company has expanded its SC light commercial hermetic compressor line. Four new, high-temperature, 230-V compressors range from 3,700 to 6,300 Btuh and can be used for applications such as electronic cooling and heat pumps. The range of the medium-temperature units is extended to 3,450 Btuh using R-134a, while one model using R-404A has a capacity of 4,300 Btuh and another has a 5,300-Btuh capacity. These compressors can be used in such applications as beverage coolers, glass door merchandisers, and ice machines. For low-temperature applications such as ice merchandisers, commercial freezers, and laboratory and scientific equipment, two new models are available — one with a 1,280-Btuh capacity and the other with a 1,550-Btuh capacity.
