Baldor Electric Co.: EXPANDED MOTOR LINE

The company has expanded its ac motor line to 1,500 hp in low and medium voltages. Enclosures and ratings are: TEFC through 5810 frame æ 800 hp; ODP, WPI, WPII through 5810 frame æ 1,500 hp; inverter/vector through 5810 frame æ 800 hp; explosion-proof through 449T frame æ 350 hp; and 950 vac motors æ random wound or form coil. Features include a choice of Super-E® premium-efficiency windings or Standard-E™ high-efficiency windings, and standard epoxy VPI (vacuum-pressure impregnation) insulation system, the company says.
