Ventinox® VFT chimney liner, originally manufactured for oil applications, has recently received an “all fuels” listing from Underwriters Laboratories and may be installed at zero clearance to combustibles, says the company. Made from 316Ti stainless steel, the product can withstand the high temperatures associated with solid fuel, as well as the corrosive elements typical in gas and oil appliances, the company says. Its continuous weld construction makes it airtight and watertight while providing excellent strength and flexibility, says the manufacturer.
