Miura Boiler West: multiple boiler control
Multiple Installation (MI) controller and software ties several boilers together and is programmed to custom match steam usage patterns. The boilers act as one large unit with multiple backup and almost infinite turn down, says the company. When steam demand picks up, the controller compensates by forcing on-line boilers to high fire, while additional units are started up. When steam demand slows, the controller reduces output and, if necessary, takes boilers off-line.
