Developed for use with the FW2000MK thermometer, the 1412MK direct-connect probe allows for accurate and easy one-handed temperature monitoring, says the company. The type K thermo-couple probe features a 3.25-in. stainless steel stem, temperature range of –100°F to 500°F, and a response time of 2 sec, making it particularly useful for quick-check situations, the manufacturer says. The product is a needle puncture probe with a shaft diameter from .062 to .098 in. With the probe, the user eliminates dangling cords that may touch food or other surfaces.
