FREQUENCY INPUT ISOLATOR

The SC478 frequency input isolator provides a DIN rail mount and frequency input con-ditioner with 1,800 vdc isolation between input and output, and power. The field-configurable input and output allows the unit to be used for variable-frequency drives, magnetic pickups, and data acquisition and control systems, says the manufacturer. The unit is designed to eliminate ground loops and interface pulse output transducers, the company says. The input can be configured for any frequency span from 2 to 10,000 Hz.
