Thermo King Corp.: REFRIGERATION CONTROL

The In-Cab Controller for Smart Reefer™ allows drivers of refrigerated trucks to maintain temperature control within arms’ reach, the company says. The controller allows drivers to perform all the same functions as the external refrigeration unit controller keypad, but without leaving the truck cab. With the new dealer-installed option, drivers can avoid pulling their rigs over to check the refrigeration unit, saving time and money, says the company. The control provides an ongoing display of cargo temperature and alerts the driver to problems.
