Six new, 5.6-in.-dia Fasco-brand direct-drive blower motors for furnace and air conditioner applications are available. Models D1703 (1/4 hp), D1704 (1/3 hp) and D1705 (1/2 hp) are 115-V units. Models D1706 (1/4 hp), D1707 (1/3 hp), and D1708 (1/2 hp) are 208- to 230-V units. All operate at 1,075 rpm. They share a standard shaft dimension of 8 by 1/2 by 8 in. The units are categorized as permanent split capacitor (PSC), totally enclosed, air-over units. All models are thermally protected, CSA certified, and UL recognized, says the manufacturer.
