The new document-imaging capability of the company’s Forefront® construction management software addresses a problem faced by hvacr, plumbing, and mechanical contractors: locating, using, and refiling various paper documents. With the document-imaging system, whenever users look for a transaction, they’ll also find the original document, the company explains. Document imaging is fully integrated with the accounting system. Documents also can be shared, since they can be viewed on screen and then e-mailed or faxed.
