Natural gas dryers are designed to remove water vapor and condensed liquids from pipelines, before points of pressure reduction. Benefits include preventing freeze-ups that can block gas flow, and protecting instruments and equipment against problems such as fouling and corrosion, says the company. The desiccant requires no regeneration and the drying process has no BETX emissions, the company adds. The dryers are a replacement for heaters, boilers, separators, glycol systems, and alcohol injection systems.
