Johnson Controls (Milwaukee, WI) has named Tempcon Inc. a member of its Authorized Building Controls Specialist (ABCS) distribution channel. As an ABCS channel partner, Tempcon will be working in concert with the Johnson controls Gulfsouth area office to provide facility management and temperature control systems throughout southern Louisiana.

Nicor Gas

Nicor Gas (Naperville, IL) has signed a multimillion dollar contract with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to work on a variety of energy-efficiency projects at its Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, IL. The work is part of a comprehensive, five-year energy-conservation program to be done under the DOE’s Federal Energy Program, which requires federal facilities to assess their energy consumption and find ways to use energy more efficiently.
