The DAC-55 door monitor is designed for walk-in coolers and freezers. It offers audible, visual, and remote door ajar alarms, as well as panic alarms. It also provides control of evaporator fans, solenoid valve, and interior lights relative to the status of the compartment door in a variety of user selectable configurations, says the company. The unit replaces mechanical, door-mounted fan delay timers and door switches by using magnetic contacts to sense door status. A pushbutton control mounted inside the walk-in serves as a dual means for device activation.
