SMACN-IFUS to Meet During Conference

The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Industry Fund of the United States (SMACN-IFUS) will hold its annual contributors’ meeting toward the end of its annual business meeting, on Oct. 11, 2000.

The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association’s (SMACNA’s) 57th annual convention, to be held Oct. 8-12 at the Hilton Waikoloa Village Hotel in Waikoloa, Hawaii, will focus on “Navigating the Future” of the construction industry through the new millennium.

With much of the world’s future, including that of the construction industry, tied directly to e-commerce, speakers at the conference include nationally renowned speaker Jack Kemp and Jonathon Antevy, ceo and co-founder of MP Interactive Corp., who will present “E-Commerce & Web-Enabled Project Management: Vision to the Future.”

Seven market sector forums are also featured in this year’s convention, including architectural, industrial, hvac, service contracting, duct manufacturing, and custom metal fabricating and manufacturing.
