NORTH POLE, Alaska - Nutech Brands Inc., Ty Pennington, and multiple other contributors and volunteers traveled to the North Pole, Alaska to film the season premier of ABC's ‘Extreme Makover: Home Edition.' Local builder, Landmark Inc., along with hundreds of volunteers, stepped up to take on the challenge of building the Rogers 13 member family a 4,000-square-foot dream home in one week.

Nutech Brands Inc. got involved with the ventilation component of the home and provided two Lifebreath 200MAX Heat Recovery Ventilators (HRVs), which were supplied by Frontier Plumbing Supply and installed by Holaday-Parks Inc. and the volunteer crew. The heating was supplied by in-floor radiant tubing fed by a central hot water boiler.

"Project management was very challenging on this project. Everything had to be coordinated and planned out ahead of time so that things went together quickly and correctly the first time," said Jerry Mustard of Holaday-Parks Inc. "We made CAD drawings to show relative locations of the duct, walls, and floor joists so we could find the problem areas before we even went out to the jobsite."
