Proposals Sought for NBI's Getting to Zero Forum

PORTLAND, Ore. — The New Building Institute's GTZ Forum 2026 is scheduled for Monday, October 5, and Tuesday, October 6, in New York City.
The GTZ (Getting to Zero) Forum brings together building professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders to share ideas for advancing high-efficiency and zero-carbon buildings. The content is designed to accelerate market growth and develop relationships that will drive impact in the green buildings movement, according to the New Buildings Institute (NBI).
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is the host sponsor of this year's GTZ Forum, and other sponsorship opportunities are available.
NBI is accepting proposals for GTZ Forum breakout sessions and poster presentations in three tracks: 1) building codes and policy; 2) grid interactivity and energy resilience; and 3) emerging technology and market solutions. Proposals could involve case studies, real-world solutions, and stories of victories and lessons learned, a NBI press release said.
The NBI has submission guidelines for the proposals here; the submissions deadline is Wednesday, May 20.
